The Dovegate Inn is easily accessible from Saratoga Springs (8 miles east), and is centrally located to other points of interest.  The Saratoga National Historical Park is 8 miles south and the Saratoga National Cemetery is 7 miles south, both on Route 4.  Skiing at Willard Mountain (southeast on Route 40) or at West Mountain (Exit 18 of I-87, the Northway) can easily be reached within 40 minutes.  The Saratoga Battle Monument and the Schuyler House are within minutes of the Inn.

DIRECTIONS to the DOVEGATE INN

From Albany, Saratoga Springs and I-87 traveling north or from the Adirondack Region, Glens Falls and I-87 traveling south:

•    take Exit 14 to Route 29 East to Schuylerville

From Manchester & southern Vermont:

•    take VT Rt 30 northwest towards Poultney

•    just beyond East Rupert, turn left onto Rte315 to Rupert

•    from Rupert, continue on 153 to Salem

•    from Salem, take Rte 29 west to Greenwich

•    continue on 29 west to Broad St., Schuylerville
